Entrepreneurship runs in my family. My father owned an insurance agency for my entire life. My grandfather had a successful restaurant and sold it when he retired. I always had an interest in business and possessed many leadership skills from a young age. I was in Boy Scouts for many years. While participating in the Boy Scouts it taught me many life skills that I have brought in adulthood.  I would help others with teambuilding activities and grew a much better understanding on being a team player. I also did martial arts for 15 years. Growing up to a black belt level, eventually became a mentor and assistant instructor at the age of 17. I found that my participation in these activities taught me to learn how to treat people with respect and honesty. It also taught me charity, paying it forward, and leading by example. All 3 aspects I take great pride in today in every area of my life.
